This is the first time my friends and I came here. Friendly staff, communicating with us in both English and German. Delicious food, beautifully presented. Cozy restaurant space. I accidentally found this restaurant online and decided to come back to eat next time for real👍🏻

One of our favorite meals while in Amberg by far!!! The staff was kind and helpful, even when we went back a second time at the request of my husband for his birthday and they were having a busy night and we had no reservations, they found us a table in the courtyard within 10 minutes! The filets were cooked to perfection, honestly one of the best filets I've had anywhere eating out and that says a lot given my father in law raised his own! The drink menu offered plenty of choices and left us coming home searching for a way to get Mönchshof Schwarzbier back home! During our second visit, the chef came out to speak to us and ask how we liked our meal. We loved everything about this restaurant and some of my husband's co-workers went after our visit and had the same wonderful experience!

Best Aged steak in Amberg! The Waitress spoke perfect English was outstanding ! She made our day! She was very very friendly, helpful and polite. The aged steak is delicious and was very juicy! The sides have enormous portions and tastes awesome! The steak, desserts, the atmosphere and the staff. What more could we ask for! Thank you for a great experience

Hands down the best meal you can get in Amberg! Superior quality dry aged beef. Fantastic wine selection. The staff were super friendly. They speak both German and English. Dessert was also fantastic. Be sure to call for reservations! Thank you for the hospitality and we look forward to returning again soon.

One of the best steakhouses in Amberg! Steaks are great but the burger has to be the best in the area. Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time or you may not be able to get a table. Great service and the servers all speak English/German.

Food was amazing and the atmosphere even better! Americans in Germany and we couldn’t have picked a better restaurant! Service was friendly and welcoming. Best steak I’ve had in forever. Highly recommend.

Underwhelming experience. No English menus (in a “nice” restaurant like this, in a town like Amberg that is expected). Husband’s steak was not as ordered. Service was all over the place, we had 4 different waiters which led to confusion (A floor plan with designated tables to each waiter would probably keep that from happening). At the end we were waiting for our desserts for a good 20 mins only to find out our order was never put in by any of the many people we talked to, so we paid and left. Good customer service goes beyond a pretty apron. The 3 stars I give to my “Girolles” rump steak which was delicious, I would go easier on the salad dressing tho.
